Impacting Lives Through The Boys & Girls Club!
Looking at our youth is like looking at a window into our future. How children lives are impacted today, will reflect in their actions and choices tomorrow. Often times we forget how fragile these young minds can be and how much nurturing they need for them to be molded into the best version they can possibly be.
The Boys & Girls Club has done an excellent job running one of the highest rating and successful youth organizations in the U.S. They have raised millions of dollars and have helped millions of children in need nationwide. Their mission of impacting children’s lives through academic success, good character/citizenship development, and healthy lifestyles are just some of the ways that this organization helps children and families in need. The B&GC has created an excellent, safe environment for children to learn leadership skills, be taught and be inspired by their mentors and peers to become productive citizens in their communities.
The Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley alone, are responsible for an average of 11,000 registered club members each year. The East Valley Clubs provide over $370,000 in financial assistance to families and award almost $50,000 in scholarships each year toward post-secondary education. Never is a child turned away due to financial limitations.
This is one of the primary reasons the Carol Royse Team, and in particular, Carol Royse herself chose to be part of this organization. Carol believes in the importance of giving children the opportunity to succeed no matter what their home life or financial limitations are.
“Over the past 40 years of my involvement with the Boys and Girls Club, I have seen many successful club members graduate from high school, go on to a University and beyond. The B&GC play a vital role in making our communities and our country a better place to live in.” – Carol Royse
Recently Carol was recognized by the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley for her passion and love for the kids over the last 40 years. Her role as a Board Leader and volunteer has been instrumental to the development of the B&GCEV in Tempe.
When we asked Carol why did she begin this journey 40 years ago and why does she continue to do this is what she had to say.
“As a leader and CEO or the Carol Royse Team I feel it’s important to give back to communities that have given so much to my team and me. One of the reasons we work so hard to fund the B&GCEV is because we believe that all children should have access to academic programs and positive leadership regardless of their home or financial situation.” – Carol Royse
As part of the effort to give back to our communities and continue the tradition of being a part of the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley, The Carol Royse Team has committed to donating a portion of their revenue every time someone refers our services. Over the years the Carol Royse Team has successfully given over 1million dollars to the B&GCEV. However, we feel it’s important to mention that this would never be possible without the wonderful customers that have supported us and referred us over the years. We are thankful for everyone that has made it possible for the Carol Royse Team to give back.
